Capcom Cup 11 brought together pretty much all of the best Street Fighter 6 players together under one roof, and of course there’s going to be quite a bit of talking going on among them.
While they were focused on playing the end out of Season 2 of SF6, what of their hopes for Season 3 in the game?
We already discussed Broski’s recent video asking a bunch of SF6 pros for their top 5 characters right now, but that’s not all he did during the downtime at the event.
14 top competitors were also asked by Broski for their most wanted changes for Season 3, and there’s a good bit of overlap in their answers.
SR|NuckleDu, Reject|Angrybird, and WBG|Menard all want throw loops removed from the game, which has been a pretty common ask going back towards the end of Season 1 too.
NL notes, however, that of course if throw loops are gone, Perfect Parry is going to need changed up too otherwise the game would favor defense too much.
NIP|Phenom wants Ken buffs for the memes, but seriously wants a bigger hurtbox on Drive Rushes activations and the removal of some options out of it that make it harder to punish, which Shine, JuicyJoe and Mister Crimson also agree with.
On a similar note, Talon|Hotdog29 would like to see the option of using specials out of Drive Rush removed completely.
Reject|Big Bird is wishing for a wider refresh for SF6, feeling as though the game has become a little stale and samey like changes to Drive Rush and how fast meter recharges.
