CALABAR – In a statement released today, the Cross River State Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Moses Osogi has praised Governor Otu for his unwavering determination and resilience within his first 100 days in office to improve the state’s prospects.
The statement highlights the following:
“Despite the demanding nature of your responsibilities, your initial 100 days in office have showcased your passion, dedication, and awareness of the people’s needs. Our optimism has been elevated, with the promise of a brighter future for all the residents of our cherished state. We believe that Cross River State will once again become the preferred destination for the people.”
The Environment Boss emphasized that under Governor Otu’s leadership, the Ministry of Environment has broken down barriers and is now focused on rejuvenating a peaceful, clean, and eco-friendly environment that is suitable for all residents.
Furthermore, he expressed confidence that with the consistent support of the governor, Cross River State will undergo a transformation. Adding that the ministry has been tasked with addressing all environmental concerns and is actively working to change the social behavior of residents, with the goal of restoring Cross River to its former status as the cleanest state in Nigeria.
“We have faith that under your leadership, all our aspirations can be realized. As you guide the state, we pledge our unwavering support as we navigate the realities of our journey ahead,” he concluded.
